We love men!  However, our mission specifically targets women, as they are statistically disproportionately impacted by divorce.  We understand there are outliers and not all divorced women will need our services either.  If you are a man in need of assistance, please reach out!  We have some wonderful partners we would be happy to refer you to.

Of course!  And we hope you will.  We will happily work to find resources that will work for your family situation.

Tax deductible donations are those made to nonprofits with 501c3 status.  We are patiently awaiting the awarding of that status to Her Own Sweet Home.  While we understand this can be a deterrent for donations, we do hope that you will support us if you are able to, as it will help us remain operational while our 501c3 status is pending. 

Our service providers offer their services either pro-bono or on a sliding scale rate based on the financial needs of our clients.  We source the clients and direct them to our partners who book them for services according to their availability.  If you are interested in partnering with us, please look under the "volunteer" tab and fill out the form at the bottom of the page.  We will then schedule a time to discuss in more detail with you.  We look forward to working with you!

We determine who we award subsidies to based on the following factors:

The requesting party is a woman who is experiencing divorce or has recently finalized a divorce.  She may be just outside of the eligibility criteria for state assistance & must be committed to doing the work associated with healing from her divorce.  

Yes!  While our funding is strictly reserved for providing assistance to women of divorce, we do not turn people away if they do not fit perfectly into this criterion.  We have many qualified providers who are available for you, so please reach out and we would be happy to review your options with you.
